Arizona & New Mexico

Hello,
After long time, I'm here again.
Recently I traveled to Arizona and New Mexico.
I will add some pictures from those places and write what I think about them.
My starting pointing was Phoenix AZ. I spent almost no time there. Little time too many places to see , So Phoenix wasn't in my list.
My first stop was Sedona. It was nice, little touristy village which also offers nice natural beauty around it. I liked there. Next day I went to Grand Canyon. I've seen there before so it wasn't that much interesting for me. Since everything is same :)
I drove head to New Mexico. I did not want to spent so much time in Arizona since their local food restaurants were McDonald's,Kentucky Fried Chicken and Sonic. Also too many miserable and Obese people. It was fun too listen Elvis Presley right after little speeches in Navajo language "which sounds like Persian or Kurdish" .
Everyone was using their AC in their car. I was the only one who uses his car's windows to cool off.
Almost not having any single sunny day in Boston for long time I was just telling to the Sun"bring all the heat you have"
While I was driving in 85 mph in New Mexico highway ,I was listening all funny, happy Mexican songs which I would never listen in Boston. They put you in good mood. It was surprising to see many casinos on my way to Santa Fe.
I loved New Mexico!
People were happier, architecture was interesting and colorful, food was local and delicious :)
There were only two questions;
Red or Green chillies ? Mine is Red.
My favorite food was Pollo Adobo.
Adobe style houses was very inspiring. I really loved them.
We have this type houses in Turkey too but not colorful like these ones.
Turquoise colored doors were my favorite ones.
Before I went to Taos and Taos Pueblos I gave a visit to Bandelier National Monument. After climbing all the ladders I was hardly breathing because of the equipment I have and 109 degree heat. After I took dozen pictures from up in cave I run to small shop to get a gallon water.
Taos is a town like Santa Fe city but of course much smaller.
Taos Pueblo is kind of live museum like Plymouth in MA. Except no one use electric, many restricted areas which you can't go but parked cars in front of their houses.
It wasn't that much interesting after I've seen all adobe houses on the way to come there.
I didn't see any Native American in their costumes. Shame :(
Hopefully next time.
El Rancho De Las Golondrinas was very advertised place for living museum but like I said before
If you've seen Plymouth,Don't waste your time ...
I would go to New Mexico again but not Arziona...
Hopefully You like the images I took.
Till i see you again,
Have a happy sunny day!
